How do I connect my WhatsApp?
Your WhatsApp number is connected during onboarding via OTP verification. Once verified, Abena starts responding to customers automatically. Check your connection status in Settings > Profile tab.
How do customers pay?
Customers pay via Mobile Money or cash on delivery. Set up your MoMo number in Settings > Payments tab. Payments are confirmed automatically through Paystack.
How do I change my mobile money number?
Go to Settings > Payments tab. Enter your new number and click Save. The change takes effect immediately for new orders.
How are delivery fees calculated?
Delivery fees are calculated automatically based on the distance between your store and the customer. No manual setup needed. The system uses Google Maps when available and falls back to zone-based pricing.
How does Ordermate pricing work?
Ordermate is completely free to use. We take 2% per order (3% for Mobile Money payments). There are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no contracts. You only pay when a customer pays you.
Can I add more products later?
Yes! Go to the Products tab and click "+ Add Product". You can also mark items as out of stock without deleting them. Changes reflect immediately to customers.
Where do I find my store link?
Go to Settings > Store Link tab. You can copy it there, but you don't need to share it manually. Abena automatically sends a "Browse Shop" button to customers on WhatsApp.
What is a handoff request?
When a customer asks to speak to a real person, Abena creates a handoff request. You will see it in the Handoff tab and can reply directly via WhatsApp.
